When Charlsie first stepped into Epiphany in 2021, she felt it instantly. From the aesthetic and style of merchandise to the foundation of faith and mission of generous giving, this boutique was everything she had been dreaming about, praying for, and holding in her heart since 2012. Fresh out of college and working at a boutique in Five Points, she began to dream about owning a women’s boutique in downtown Athens. She longed for a shopping experience that would foster a sense of belonging, one that would help women discover their identity in Christ and live out God’s purposes for their lives. She hoped for a ministry, a conduit of generosity, whose impact would reach far beyond its walls and would bless the surrounding community for generations to come. 

Years later Charlsie learned just how intertwined Dara’s dream was with her own. Before, she thought she would have to build a business from scratch when the Lord was already at work establishing that business through Dara. In God’s perfect timing, Dara was ready to pass the baton just as Charlsie was ready to step into the calling. Humbled by God’s faithfulness and inspired by the way He beautifully weaves dreams together, Charlsie is honored to carry on the legacy that Dara started and continue the mission that they unknowingly shared for years. Her hope is simple and steadfast: that Epiphany continues to shine as a beacon of hope in the cities that it serves, reminding women of their worth and operating as a vessel of generosity for “the least of these.”
